About Larry Shulman

35 years of industry experience, but who is counting?

If you were to examine the inner workings of the most profitable businesses in the marketplace today, you would find a single common factor: All of these companies surround themselves with highly committed partners whose expertise can consistently be relied upon.

This is true of Larry Shulman, who has guided LMS with passion and commitment to customer satisfaction for nearly 29 years. With a central focus on partnering for technical and engineering excellence, he has kept LMS dedicated to delivering unmatched technical solutions, while successfully designing and managing support programs for thousands of companies he has worked with over the 35 years he has been in the field.

Mr. Shulman received his engineering degree in 1979 and has maintained a pinpoint-like focus on learning, designing and improving his methods of service delivery. As the leader of one of Long Island’s most successful managed service providers, and a frequent speaker who teaches support companies how to build and improve their own service offerings, Mr. Shulman is highly respected by all of the companies that he serviced.

He is a passionate teacher, who works tirelessly to improve service delivery from his peers, while at the same time, has provided direct support functions to more than 6,000 companies over the past 28 years.

Prior to starting LMS in 1979, Mr. Shulman worked as a regional support engineer for General Electric Medical Systems, where he was responsible for refining support service and safety practices, along with providing top-level engineering support for local district technicians. He was credited with numerous engineering change processes and also trained GE technical staff during his five years there. LMS was a direct extension of his early roots in the medical electronic services industry.

Mr. Shulman is the father of eight children and is a resident of Dix Hills, Long Island. He has been married for 33 years to Bobbie, his business partner and wife. He is an avid sailor and spends much of his free time living in Ludlow, VT at his country hide-away.

He preaches the wastefulness of hard work, and instead promotes “smart work,” elegant solutions that allow those who work alongside him to achieve far more, with much less effort. He spends much of his spare time developing lower cost support options to meet the demands of next generation technology solutions.
