LMS Technical Services opened its doors in 1979. For nearly 29 years it has been serving the Metro NYC/Long Island business community. With our 10,000sq ft service facility located in western Suffolk County, we are within one hour driving distance to the entire Metro area. It has been our home for 25 years. In an age of e-commerce and Internet presence, our solid long-term brick and mortar stability has provided security and comfort to thousands of clients over the years.

Beginning with providing support on medical-based computers for nuclear medicine departments for top NYC hospital, Mount Sinai, St. Vincent, and Long Island Jewish, LMS realized that the emerging markets for small business computers in 1981 would be its future. Starting with a contract to supply services for a California-based multi-user computer company called Alpha Micro, LMS grew its field support team to 25 technicians over the next 10 years. As the network markets began to take shape by the early 90s, LMS moved fully into the network support world.

By the mid-90s, the internal development of network support staff and increased competition by small support providers forced LMS to find a specialized niche in companies that required solid remote connectivity solutions and high level support response. Seeing the complexity of the growing technology, LMS began introducing remote support models for smaller businesses based on large corporate support tools. In 2005, LMS along with Zenith Infotech introduced a refined set of support options and tools that has revolutionized the support model and is now setting the standard for how services are delivered to small and mid-sized businesses today.

With 28 years of profitable and solid growth behind it, LMS will continue to stay focused on managed services, and infrastructure support. Our engineering and technical group maintains a clear edge in this competitive market by staying close to the market place changes, and by continuing to employ and develop passionate members on our team.
